Don Ching Trang Chu, president of Primary Global Research, has been arrested on an assortment of charges related to insider trading. Mr. Chu, according to the criminal complaint, promoted his firm by arranging for nonpublic material information (also known as inside information) to be leaked to hedge funds.
This has rather disrupted his travel plans. He was going to leave for Taiwan on 11/28. Now, he gets to appear in a Manhattan federal court.
